Above party called on the detectives line to report a
suspicious phone call. R/P stated someone called him from
and they told him his daughters car was ready.
R/P never dropped his daughters car off and was concerned it
could be a scam. He also reported that when questioning the
person on the phone they were rude. Det. called
Auto Body, located here in town. They confirmed it was
a misunderstanding and they called the wrong number. They
stated that the R/P called the store back and was upset.
Both parties were advised to stop calling each other,
because it was all a misunderstanding. Peace restored.
